Spend a weekend learning the craft of modern upholstery in the unique setting of Torr Vale Mill in the Peak District.
Over two days, you’ll build your own Queen Anne footstool from frame upwards, learning the techniques that underpin professional upholstery. This is not a demonstration or a kit assembly workshop — you’ll work through the full process yourself, guided step by step.
With just six makers per weekend, the groups are intentionally small. There is time to understand each stage properly and to leave with a beautifully made piece you’ll be proud to have in your home.
No previous experience is needed — just a willingness to learn and enjoy the process of making something well. What You’ll Make
